Greenway Residential Development, LLC (GRD) was formed October 1, 2009 to fulfill its founder's vision of developing, constructing and operating affordable and market rate housing communities in the Atlantic Seaboard and the Southeastern United States. The company was formed by the principals of Greenway Development Company, LLC, Development, Inc. and WXZ Construction, LLC. The leadership of GRD provides a uniquely comprehensive depth of experience in the development and delivery of affordable single-family, multi-family and senior housing communities through their success in developing and constructing 158 communities comprising 9,254 units in Georgia, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, North Carolina, Texas and Virginia.

Greenway Residential Development currently has six tax credit communities comprising of 296 new residential units, including family and senior housing, open or under development in North and South Carolina: Autumn Oaks Apartments (60 units in Sanford, NC) under construction summer 2011, Hampton Crest Apartments (64 units in Anderson, SC), Hampton Greene Apartments (72 units in Anderson, SC), Glenwood Hills (60 units in Morganton, NC) and Windsor Crossing (40 units in Lumberton, NC) all open and currently being leased.

In July 2011 Greenway Residential Development was allocated tax credits for Laurel Crossing, a 60 unit family housing development in Knightdale, NC. Construction to begin 4th quarter 2011 with completion summer 2012.
